Klymeni Traditional Homes

Klymeni is located just a few minutes from the old town of Nafplio on the way to Karathona beach. Leaving behind Nafplio and ascending towards the magnificent fortress of Palamidi, Klymeni is set in spacious surroundings (30,000 square meters) enclosed by olive trees, orchards and gardens. In the property, you can also find wells and water springs, as well as a private Byzantine church of Agia Paraskevi.

Klymeni in Greek Mythology

Klymeni was the daughter of King Catreus of Crete, son of Minos of Knossos in Crete.
Along with her sister Aerope, she was sold away out of her father's fear that he would be killed by his children.
Later on, Klymeni was married to Nauplius, with whom she had three sons, Palamidis, Oeax and Nausimedon.
